Apartment Review for Woodhawk Club Apartments - Pittsburgh, PA

I have lived at the Woodhawk for 4 yrs now and this was my first time with such a big snow fall.Growing up in the South, I never had the pleasure of dealing with so much snow.The news had announced that we were now in a state of emergency, and we shouldn't leave our homes unless it was absolutely necessary.For some reason the neighbors all wanted to go out driving.(Stupid, if you ask me.)I myself,had to be at work at the hospital,and my car was stuck in MOUND of snow.There was a maintenance man driving around,alone,plowing,and shoveling all of us out.I HAD to be at work,and I MUCH appreciated his assistance.On the other hand,there were people carrying on,because they wanted to get to the mall.The mall? We were in a state of emergency!This worker TRIED explaining to one woman that the mall wasn't opened,as I heard her getting upset that there was a sale at JC Penny!! He smiled and dug her car out,as she continued to curse and carry on. I wanted to thank this man for his kindness and all his help. I wanted to do this before some ungrateful people start in on their reviews.Seems like people tend to overlook the good things,but quickly jump on a mishap.Since I've been here,I have had nothing but a great experience.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND renting here. ESPECIALLY, if you,like myself,are absolutely helpless in a snowy situation. The Woodhawk Club is an exceptional place to live!!!
