Apartment Review
Trends is a horrible business run by a sleazy owne

Bravo to the Bethel Park resident for their very detailed account of what it's like to live in a Trends Capital property! I am thankfully no longer a tenant but had very similar experiences. The Bethel Park tenant sounds like they had a poor landlord before Trends. I had the opposite. My Sq Hill property was owned by a great couple who took excellent care of the place, treated the tenants with dignity & respect and had some pride in the appearance of the place. So, my experience showed the stark contrast when someone like Trends took over. Previous tenants at this property have basically detailed all of my same experiences already on this message board, so I won't reiterate them again. What I will say is hoping to get any concerns, questions, etc. addressed by Trends is a hopeless prospect. They employ an inferior staff who are intellectually not up to par, do not understand customer service and have childlike communication skills. The only way I ever had anything accomplished was to call Jason Cohen directly at 412-812-1578, until he got tired of hearing the calls that his business was ignoring. There is a reason that couple who used to own the Sq Hill property had consistent lease renewals...and why Trends has to find new tenants every year and cannot retain one beyond their first lease.
