Apartment Review for Trends Capital, Llc Aka Jlb Investment Properties - Pittsburgh, PA

I hate Trends Capital. 5 email maintenance requests, two phone requests, and a formal fax threating to bring our laywer with a bill for parking tickets that the idiot that rented us the apartment said promised we could park on the street said, was what it took to have Trends write back. They said they would pay back one of the tickets (yippie, 15 bucks) and be there on Wednesday to "troubleshoot" our problems. I still refuse to pay rent until they actually do this. Now how you could "troubleshoot" a stove that catches on fire, and "troubleshoot" a trash mound that is 8 feet tall and "troubleshoot" a lack of smoke detector is beyond me. Today, two more letters from trends. One saying that we didn't pay the bill. I need to call them back and let them know that our lawyers advised us not to pay the bill until every matter was satisfied. The other letter? A BILL!!!!!!!!!!!! They sent us a bill for 30 bucks saying that we broke contract by leaving trash in the hall. First off, no where in the contract does it state a cost or fines for anything. Secondly, I think an empty box is a lot less noticable than an 8 foot mound of trash that they can't afford to pick up. Needless to say, i'm not paying that. Or I could give them 15 and tell them not to worry of their generous offer of paying one of the at least 20 parking tickets we have. I can not WAIT to get the hell out of the trash heap we live in.
