Apartment Review for Jj Land Company - Pittsburgh, PA

I moved into my apartment June 25th. My lease started July 1st. When I first looked at the apartment in May, the old tenant was still living there. The apartment had alot of potiential but it needed some renovations. I liked the location and the fact that utilities were included. I gave the deposit and wrote a letter stating I would not pay the first months rent unless certian things were re-done. The rental company typed up an agreement with me and we went over everything I wanted fixed. When I moved in June 25th all the remodeling was done and then some.New cabenits, new flooring, new ceiling fans, new vanity, new stove and a new microwave on the way. I was very pleased with the final product. After an inspection I noticed additional things needed done such as some pluming issues, the sliding door to my deck and the vacant space above the stove. All of these were addressed rather quickley and to my satisfaction. All my friends and family like the apartment and the price. The other tenants in the apartment complex are very nice and friendly. I know it's early but I really like it here so far. There are lots of trees and it is very peaceful and quiet. I read alot of reviews on this company and some of them were not so great. I've learned that you should just ask for what you want and make sure those demands are met before you hand over your money. Everyone I met at the office was nice, everyone has different personalities so pick the person that gets the job done for you and always ask for them.
