Apartment Review for Herbert Halsband - Pittsburgh, PA

Whatever you do please PLEASE stay away from this company because the properties are not in good shape and kiss your security deposit good-bye. I was in one of their properties for a year and I have never been so disappointed in my life with a landlord. It took them 9 days to get a plumber to me to fix my kitchen sink because I didn't have any water. Then they left it a mess and didnt' offer me any compensation. That is just one story, I have plenty more. Also about the security deposit, what a joke. They took almost all of it and claimed that they have recipts for everything. Which I can't believe that all of the minor repairs that they did added up to so much money. What they do is take your deposit and apply it to the repairs for the apartment, they don't put any money into they apartment they want you to pay for all of the repairs that they do whether you cause the damage or not. So what it comes down to is that they want to use your money for up-keep to their apartment because they are too cheap to reinvest into their properties. WORD TO THE WISE: Run away from this company because ontop of all of their antics the people in their office have no idea how to talk to people. Sherry is the worst. Not only does she talk down to you but she also acts as if she doesn't need you in one of her DADDY'S buildings.
