Apartment Review for Forbes Management Llc - Pittsburgh, PA

I lived with Forbes Management for a year off Millvale near Bloomfield and never really had a problem, but then again I never really put in a maintenance request. I had a mouse or two in the apt. The ceiling started caving in as my lease was ending and they didnt fix it for a week or so. Now I live on S. Atlantic and they tried to terminate our lease due to noise compliants, yet the police were called several times and never thought there was a need to fine us or give us a warning. Now our washer/dryer unit is falling apart and they won't fix it. Our hot water ran out twice during the week of Christmas and they never called to check if we got it turned on and we called the emergency line for help and they said they couldnt contact Forbes to help us. If your going to fix everything yourself, i'd say you wouldnt mind renting from them. It seems like as soon as anything more than minor comes up they are a horrible landlord. And Paula, the secretary, is a complete BITCH. They raise your rent every year, yet they never make imporvements. I left my old apartment spotless (mind you it was all hardwood floors) and they still charged me a cleaning fee after I cleaned the apt. and left it cleaner than it was when I moved in.
