Apartment Review for Equity Real Estate - Pittsburgh, PA

Believe every single one of these negative reviews. These people are only out to get your money, they couldn't care less about their tenants. The property is always a mess. I moved in and nothing was done to the apartment. There was a black film on the walls which were not painted, the carpet was never washed let alone even vacuumed. The bathroom floor was rotting out and I am surprised I didn't fall through to my downstairs neighbors. The kitchen floor was also awful. I couldn't even move my things in, I had to go to wal-mart to buy cleaning supplies. The blinds were shattered and a screen was missing from the window, and the problems were never fixed. They are also impossible to get a hold of. At one point I tried calling for 3 weeks and had to physically go into the office and demand to talk to someone. In the winter they don't plow or shovel either (I slipped on some ice when walking to my apartment). Save yourself the aggravation and go with another company, it's the worst experience I have ever had.
