Apartment Review for Crane Village Apartments - Pittsburgh, PA

Let me tell you a bit about the B.S. i've dealt while living here for the past 6 months. One when we moved our garbage disposal didn't work ..it took a month to fix that. Two we were never given the paper on what was wrong with our apt, so I wrote a formal letter 5 months ago about the dead bolt not working, the bathroom door sticking so bad you have to kick it and our fridge leaking, there are cracks in my wall. I'm still waiting for the dead bolt to be fixed and the bathroom door dealt with 5 MONTHS LATER. My best friend moved here last month. Her cabinet door was broken, her blinds were broken and though they told her there was no mold in her place, we found mold under her kitchen sink, I work in industrial hygiene believe me I know what mold looks like. Needless to say this place is horrible when it comes to keeping maintenace on the apt. Plus with all the college kids partying and pulling the fire alarm it can be hard ot sleep or find a place to park. You can call to complain about that but they will refer you to the 800 maintence line. Which when we used the one tme we got locked out. We waited 2 hours for the maintence man who said he only got the call saying we were locked out 10 minutes prior. Plus a few weeks ago we had to call the police at mid night on a saturday because some women bit her boyfriend for cheating on her. So we got to hear them yell at the tops of their lungs and lay tire throughout our plan. Plus they accused my bf of leaving tire ruts in their grass. That would be a hard feat in a 4 wheel drive truck on a december day when the ground was frozen, plus the other people in the apt told them it was a comcast truck. Also our friends car have been hit with be-be pellets and they aren't doing much to help them. BTW don't try to do anything with the wiring because its so shitty you will just stress yourself out. My friend is an electrician and was surprised at the crappy workmanship. Don't leave here unless you want to be fed up and deal with a poor manage complex.
