I wish I never had rented from them.I lived in a studio in north oakland - Craig Manor - paid $450 a month for it! The day I moved in the showerhead fell out of the wall and it didn't get fixed for a week! There were roaches in the kitchen, that I couldn't get rid of. They provided a terminator, but you had to leave your door unlocked from 8-5 during the day when they would come.It was always during the week when most people can't sit around and wait for them to come spray the apartment, plus you risk the chance of stuff being stolen if you leave ur door unlocked and are not there.The reason I rented the place wasbecause ther was central air, however, when I moved in I discovered that my studio was formerly attached to the apartment next to me and since no one was living in that apartment, I had no AC.They had to turn their electric on for my AC to work and in the winter had no control of my heat!I moved in to my place in June and my neighbors weren't supposed to move in till september.I only had one tiny window and no ventilation at all.It was about 90 degrees in there on a good day.I had my parent's lawyer call and write a letter threatening Lobos Management to get them to turn the AC on.They took $50 from me for a stain on the carpet that their own maintenance men made while remodeling the bathroom.Also, they decided to remodel the bathrooms that year (which was the only good thing) but they remodeled every day of the week including Saturday and Sunday and started at promptly 7 every morning -drilling and pounding away.And if I needed to get in contact with someone at their management office, it was like pulling teeth.They would transfer you to different people and eventually would get hung up on.DO NOT Live at any place managed by Lobos Management.They have a lot of places and have large neon signs with smiley faces on.Avoid them at all costs!
